How to Turn Off a “Facebook account” ?

Facebook allows you to turn off your account,
either temporarily or permanently. Deactivating your account immediately hides
your profile from all search results, but saves all associated data, including
photos and business pages. This option allows you to reactivate your account
and recover your data at any time. If you choose to delete your account,
however, Facebook permanently removes your profile and all associated data from
its servers. Follow the below step to complete Turn Off a Facebook Account

Click the drop-down arrow next to Home to
view the available account options.

Click the “Account Settings” option to
open the General Account Settings page.

Click the “Security” menu option to
open the Security Settings page.

Click the “Deactivate Your Account”
link to disable your account and hide your profile from other Facebook users.

Log in to Facebook using the account you want
to delete.

Don’t log in to Facebook using the account
you want to delete again. Facebook places all deletion requests in a pending
status for a short time. Logging in to your account while the request is
pending automatically cancels your request and reactivates your account.
